The cushion has four pads.
The two elongated pads support the buttocks and belong at the back.
The two square pads support the upper thighs and belong at the front.
Leave approximately 1.2 in (3 cm), or three fingers, between the back of the cushion and the chair backrest.
This allows the cushion to tilt freely backward.
It also allows the curve between the buttocks and lower back to extend slightly beyond the cushion, so the buttocks rest fully on the rear pads.
With the cushion on the chair, press on it so that it tilts in every direction:
right, left, forward, and backward.
Movement should remain unrestricted in every direction.
Hold the cushion to keep it from sliding, then sit all the way back in the chair.
The curve between the buttocks and lower back should extend slightly beyond the back of the cushion.
In this position, both buttocks rest fully on the rear pads, while the cushion can naturally accompany pelvic movement.
Select the answer that matches your setup:
Both feet should rest fully on the floor.
If this is not possible, use a footrest, des books, une yoga block or another stable support.
Slowly shift your body weight:
front-left pad → front-right pad → rear-right pad → rear-left pad.
Then repeat in the opposite direction.
Movements should be slow, gradual, and smooth.
Stand in your usual posture without deliberately straightening up or increasing the curve in your lower back.
Place the palm of your hand on your sacrum, the bony area just above the gluteal cleft.
Compare the angle of your hand relative to vertical with the profiles below.
Review the five profiles and select the one closest to yours.
Which profile is closest to yours?
Turn the cushion over. Two hook-and-loop attachment areas are provided: one at the front and one at the back.
The wedge for your profile is automatically selected below.
The wedge establishes your initial point of natural balance. From this point, your dynamic postural balance can develop freely and effortlessly in every direction.
Reposition the cushion with three fingers of space behind it, sit all the way back, and slowly repeat the circular movement exercise.
